M&A Imports President Martin Floman started as a jobber in New York back in the ‘70s, and that’s where he learned everything he knows −  in the heart of the fashion  industry.

Martin grew up in New York City, graduated with a Business Degree in 1976, and wanted to be his own boss. Having an interest in fashion, he became an independent rack jobber, working many years in that profession before starting M&A Imports in 1999. Martin’s three sons, all college grads, eventually joined him in the business, learning it from the ground up from Martin’s wealth of experience.

We checked out Just Love online and found a beautiful selection of dresses, scrubs and sleepwear at great prices. Just Love recently opened a showroom in Manhattan and also has a warehouse in Long Island. The company has expanded its sourcing globally and will be selling quality products at the OffPrice Show in Booth 640.

We asked Martin, What is your company’s major strength? “We bring new product in all the time and are constantly offering our customers new lines,” he said. “Additionally, we keep a low overhead so we can pass even greater value on to our customers. I have no commissioned salesmen, only my three sons.”

What makes customers come back to your company for repeat business? “The relationship with our customers is extremely important. In addition, we always are bringing in new styles and prints to keep everything fresh,” said Martin.

When asked about the most rewarding part of his business, Martin replied, “Having my three sons run the company with me is the most rewarding part of being in business. Of course, the customer satisfaction means a lot, but that’s only possible because of the service customers get from our family.”
