National Hardware Show Las Vegas May 10-12 – Don’t Miss It!
The 2011 National Hardware Show® will be in Las Vegas May 10-12. NHS has been serving the home improvement marketplace for the past 67 years, showcasing the industry’s biggest brands. The show originated in New York in the 1940s, migrated to Chicago in the 1970s and currently makes Las Vegas home. Catering to America’s home improvement and DIY culture, this show is where global manufacturers and other organizations go to announce new products and share ideas with a broad base of home improvement resellers.
What’s nice about the show is that it’s all inclusive. It’s really like 9 shows in one. The 7 basic product categories are: Hardware & Tools, Homewares, Lawn & Garden World, Paint & Accessories, Plumbing & Electrical, Storage & Organization and Tailgate Products. Then, there are 2 more categories: Investor’s Spotlight and International Sourcing. This makes it easy for participants to find what they need.
A few of the major brands exhibiting at the 2011 National Hardware Show® are: 3M (paint), The Coleman Company, Inc. (camping and outdoor equipment), Butler (housewares), The Scotts Co. (lawn & garden), Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (hardware), Char-broil (grills and accessories) and Osram Sylvania (light bulbs). Jarden Safety & Security, the market leader in home products, will have an interactive booth that will showcase its First Alert, SecureLine and Crawford products in a functional setting. The company will also make several product introductions under its Crawford, SecureLine and Onelink brand names.
Buyers from some of the industry’s biggest retailers, wholesalers and distributors will be there including Shawn Parsons, director of marketing/East for Baltimore-based Commerce Corporation and Adam Busscher, owner of Picton Home Hardware Building Centre in Picton, Ontario who plans to send six company reps to the Show.
