Metal Hardness Test-Equotip Bambino
The Equotip Bambino 2 is a handy measuring device for an easy metal hardness test on most diverse part geometries. It combines modern electronics with a patented impact device that integrates the test cycle into one simple motion. Proceq’s stand alone instrument for the metal hardness test does not require a separate indicating device, nor cables or PC hardware: It’s control menu and innovative features make the Equotip Bambino 2 the most ergonomic and easy to use integrated instrument for the metal hardness test.
Automatic recognition of the impact direction and self diagnostics make the metal hardness test with the Equotip Bambino 2 incredibly easy. The large LCD display shows the individual readings and mean test results. Most common metal hardness conversions are included. The Equotip Bambino 2 is ideally suited for a quick on-site metal hardness test.
Proceq SA is committed to the manufacturing of quality nondestructive portable testing instruments for concrete properties and structural parameters, metal hardness and paper roll hardness. The company’s strong Research and Development team continues to create products that set standards in these industries. Since 1994, Proceq has been certified to the ISO 9001 standards that guarantee the quality of processes, products and services.
From the beginning, Proceq has been delivering ground-breaking solutions to the industry. In the 1950s, the company became the producer of the original “Schmidt Hammer” (known as the “Swiss Hammer”). This innovative tool utilizes the world’s first patented non-destructive testing method for concrete properties. Another Proceq classic was released in the 1970s with the “Equotip” metal hardness tester. The instrument is based on the Leeb rebound principle which was invented by Proceq. In the following years, the company kept adding advanced products to their portfolio, such as the Canin Corrosion Analyzing Instrument, the Profoscope Rebar Detector and Covermeter, the SilverSchmidt Concrete Test Hammer and the PaperSchmidt Roll Hardness Tester. In order to offer their customers a broader range of products, Proceq acquired the UK based company CNS Farnell Ltd., the producers of the world’s most trusted instrument for ultrasonic concrete testing - the “Pundit”.
Proceq SA was established in 1954 in Zurich, Switzerland. To provide their international customers with local support, Proceq continually increases its presence through subsidiaries in Asia (Singapore), China (Beijing and Shanghai), Europe (London, Zurich), the Middle East (Dubai), Russia (St. Petersburg), South America (São Paulo), the USA (Chicago, Pittsburgh) and through a global network of agents and partners.
