Non-waterproof type 7 pin automotive connector housing should be used in the dry area, while waterproof type should be used for the connector in the wet area. The waterproof connector and housing is mainly achieved by waterproof rubber seal wire. If the housing is fixed vertically in wet areas, consider adding a rubber seal to the exterior of the housing.
