ATS-M Announces List of Panels and Seminars

Miami is heating up on the heels of Apparel Textile Sourcing’s U.S debut. Apparel Textile Sourcing MIAMI(ATS-M) will bring over 200 apparel companies from over a dozen countries under one roof at the Maya Wynwood May 21st-23rd, 2018. ATS-M, along with Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada (ATS-C), is a unique brand of trade show. The shows bring together all sectors of the apparel industry, not just designers and buyers, but also: textiles, raw materials, manufacturers, service providers, government associations and more.

WELCOME TO THE FIRST ATS-M

ATS-M was thought into existence as a platform that would engender the fashion industry. On the domestic side, ATS-M will enable the growth of Made in America businesses. This is significant in the sense of allowing small businesses to bypass the minimums that are usually hard-pressed by international vendors. At the same time, international brands and more will have an opportunity to do business with U.S companies and create partnerships they would not have the chance to otherwise.

In addition, the show has positioned themselves as the “Gateway to the Americas.” This is fitting as forty percent of all U.S exports to Latin and South America pass through Florida. It essentially acts as the central hub to both Latin, South America, and the Caribbean for all industries. So, ATS-M will have a heavy Latin influence from all areas of the apparel industry.

As we are now a month away from the innagual show, Jason Prescott, CEO of JPCommunicationsTopTenWholesale, and Manufacturer.com, announced the seminars and special events that will take place at the show. ATS Miami Fashon Show 

Don’t Miss the Runway at Apparel Textile Sourcing Miami. The event will have three showcases: featuring evening gowns to swimwear! The first showcase will present designs from Fashion Students from the Miami International University of Art & Design, Istituto Marangoni Miami, and the Miami Fashion Institute at Miami Dade College. The second showcase will present looks from some of Miami top talent including Julian Chang, Krelwear, Bianca Colleti, Petit Pois, Perry Ellis, Lucky In Love, Peace Love World, and more. Finally, the third showcase will debut looks from existing manufacturers. This will be an eclectic mix of fun and fashion!

Lastly, the event will feature a post-fashion show panel led by Charlene Parsons, MIU head of fashion, as well as featured speakers discussing El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, China, Africa and more.
