SAN DIEGO – May 16, 2008 – TopTenWholesale – of the JP Communications network of online search and advertising sites that serve buyers, sellers, importers and auctioneers of apparel, accessories and wholesale merchandise – was recognized as one of the Top 15 software companies in San Diego County by the San Diego Business Journal.
Recognizing top businesses in industries that strengthen the regional economy, the San Diego Business Journal ranks companies annually in resources called The Lists. TopTenWholesale ranked in The List of The 15 Largest Software Companies in San Diego County, by revenue.
Jason Prescott, TopTenWholesale’s Founder and CEO, noted the honor of ranking among the Top 15: “We have worked hard to achieve the benchmarks of a fast-growth company, including growing our revenues more than 110%, increasing employment more than 150% and rating in the top 13th percentile for all Internet traffic. To rank in the Top 15 of the Business Journal’s List -- especially in the highly competitive category of software development -- is very important to us.”
Prescott cited his recent launch of new vertical search technology – combining wholesale industry experience and human filters with search algorithm technology in software called S.A.S.E. (Synonymous Algorithm Search Enhancer) – as evidence that TopTenWholesale will work to keep its ranking on The Top 15 Software Companies list.
