As a manufacturer or distributor, you probably already know that when a potential customer lands on your website, one of the first places they’re heading to is your search box. Although the recently published “2016 Search Box Analysis of 16 Top Distributors” from the site Ecommerce & B2B found that most of the top distributors mentioned in the study have invested great amounts into their search technology, the results show they’re not making much use of their technology. The report was compiled over a few months and included over 900 individual tests based on buyer search perspective. Among the list of 16 distributors are Wesco, Grainger, BDI, and Baker.
